Platform9 1.2 Release Notes

Platform9 Release 1.2 features several enhancements and bug fixes. The salient features of this release include:

1. VM Console support in Platform9
Clicking on any Virtual Machine instance now provides a new tab called “Console” which offers built-in console access to your VMs from your web browser!

2. New ‘Access and Security’ option in the main menu
We’ve added a new sub-menu item called ‘Access and Security’ to your main menu for easy access to and management of your SSH key-pairs and OpenStack API access end points.

3. Pre-built OS Images ready to download into your Image Catalog
By popular demand, we have now enabled ‘Download Pre-built Images’ functionality, which provides you access to pre-built and cloud-init enabled VM Images for most popular Linux distros. You can access them from your Image Catalog menu.

4. Support for CentOS 7.1 and Ubuntu 14.04
Platform9 has expanded the versions of Linux distributions we support and added support for CentOS 7.1 and Ubuntu 14.04.
