Unable to Generate Support Bundle from Host.

Problem

The support bundle generation is failing with the following error:

$ pcdctl version

1.0.154

​

$ sudo pcdctl generate-support-bundle --verbose

DEBUG   ==========Genetating SupportBundle==========

FATAL   Required python_paths to generate supportBundle does not exists

Environment

• Component: pcdctl v-1.0.154

Answer

This is a known issue, and an internal bug PCD-4325, has been created to track the solution of this issue.

The fix for this issue is expected to be available in the October-Patch1 release.

Workaround

Manually create an archive file of the folders /var/log/pf9 and /opt/pf9/ and upload it to the Platform9 supported file sharing options.
