Madhura Maskasky Honored Among CloudNOW’s ‘Top Women in Cloud Innovations’ 2016

It’s a great pleasure to announce that Madhura Maskasky, Platform9 co-founder and vice president of product, is being recognized as one of the most innovative women in cloud technology.  Madhura is among 12 women being honored by CloudNOW, the executive consortium for the leading women in cloud and converging technologies, as part of their 5th annual awards program.

As many of our blog followers know, Madhura leads product management at Platform9. She led efforts around two of the company’s major initiatives in 2016: the launch of our Kubernetes-as-a-service offering that improves the process of building cloud-native applications and enables true multi-cloud deployments, and developing a managed hybrid cloud OpenStack offering. She holds a M.S. in Computer Science from Stanford University, specializing in databases and distributed systems.

Jocelyn DeGance Graham, founder of CloudNOW said, “Madhura is one of the key cloud thought leaders who is pioneering the industry and leveling the playing field for future generations. We recognize Platform9’s dedication and passion for tech, and thank her for her continued contributions.”

“Over the past two years, our entire team has been focused on creating tools for the cloud that enhance operability and performance for IT professionals around the world,” said Madhura. “To see our achievements realized by the community and be considered an innovator among this impressive group of women is a great testament to these efforts.”
