Remove a Cluster
Removing a cluster from Platform9's ArgoCD-as-a-Service is a two-step process that involves deleting or detaching the cluster from Platform9 and then removing the cluster from ArgoCD.
It is not possible to remove or detach a cluster that is managed by Platform9 from ArgoCD. This is a known limitation.
To prevent ArgoCD from being able to deploy applications remove all users from the ArgoCD-Admins user group
Remove the Cluster from Platform9
Follow the guide for deleting a Platform9 Kubernetes Cluster or the guide for detaching EKS, AKS, or GKE clusters.
Remove a Cluster from ArgoCD
To remove a cluster from ArgoCD, log into the ArgoCD web app and navigate to Settings ⇾ Clusters. On the Clusters dashboard, click the three vertical dots at the far-right end of the cluster card and choose “_Delete_”.
