Uninstalling Platform9 from your VMware

Platform9 Virtual Appliance Uninstall for VMware vSphere

Platform9 integrates with VMware vSphere environment by means of a virtual appliance (virtual machine) that is dedicated to your Platform9 account. You can download the virtual appliance from the Platform9 portal and then deploy it within your vCenter environment and authenticate it with your vCenter server.

To uninstall the Platform9 virtual appliance, browse to ‘Infrastructure’ -> ‘Hosts’ Tab. Then click ‘Manage VMware Gateway’

Next, select the deauthorize option.

That’s it! Deauthorizing the VMware Gateway will remove the association between Platform9 and your VMware vCenter server. Again, all your data remains untouched.
