Volumes Deleted From AWS Visible in Clarity UI

Problem

Volumes that have been deleted from AWS are visible under 'Volumes' tab on the Platform9 Clarity UI.

Environment

  • Platform9 Managed OpenStack - v3.6.0 and Higher
  • Omni

Answer

Currently, volume discovery is not an Omni feature. So, even after deleting the EBS volumes from AWS, we must explicitly delete the volumes from the Platform9 Clarity UI.

Additional Information

Volumes that have been deleted from the Platform9 Clarity UI would not be visible on the AWS console.
