Missing Static Routes on Router After Neutron L3 Agent Restart

Problem

Static routes added to a HA enabled router are missing after a L3__agent restart is performed or a host running the L3 agent is rebooted.

Environment

• Platform9 Managed OpenStack - v5.3 and above

• Neutron

Cause

The issue is caused due to an upstream bug.

Resolution

1. Navigate to the Routers section in the Networks tab of the Clarity UI.

2. Select the router that has static routes and click on "Edit router".

3. Uncheck the HA option and click on "Update Router".
