After Recovering From High DiskPressure, The Node Remains Disconnected To Platform9 Management Plane

Problem

The Platform9 service functionalities might get impacted if the Node disk pressure is high. But after resolving the disk pressure issue on the node, even if the pf9-hostagent and pf9-comms services were showing running in systemctl outputs, the logs are not getting recorded for the comms log. The node remained offline in Management Plane.

Environment

  • Platform9 Managed OpenStack - v5.4 and Higher.

Workaround

Restart the pf9-hostagent, pf9-comm services. This should connect the node back to the Platform9 Management plane.

Answer

The issue is resolved in the PMO-5.9 and higher. The issue was tracked in the jira CORE-1296.
