Tenant Switching Through UI Loads After Significant Delay

Problem

When switching tenants in the UI, the input registers, but the new tenant webpage loads after a significant delay.

Environment

• Platform9 Managed Kubernetes - v5.9.x and Higher.
• Component - Clarity UI

Cause

• When the tenant is switched, the scoped token is regenerated with new tenant and service catalogs are also refreshed. All these reinvoked API calls make the tenant switching action slow.
• This is a known UI bug, and it's been reported internally under ID PMK-6630.

Resolution

Wait for a few minutes and retry the tenant switch operation.
