Creating a Free Tier Platform9 Account
This article describes how to create and log into a Platform9 Freedom Tier account in order to deploy a Kubernetes cluster using Platform9 Managed Kubernetes (PMK).
What You Will Need
- Access to the inbox of a valid work email address
Create a Free Platform9 Account
- Navigate to Platform9 Free Tier Account Signup page. Provide first name, last name, your work email address. Your address will be validated, so please make sure you have access to the inbox.
- For your account name try to not use spaces or special characters. Your first initial and last name are a good fit.
- Now, head to your inbox and copy the verification code sent to your email and click the button to finish setup.
- Provide the verification code along with a password to create your account.
Make sure to save your PMK account name that you specified in the step 2 above. You will need to specify that when you log into the PMK account using the login page in future.
Once your account is created, you will receive a Welcome email that shares your account name and account url info. You will also be redirected to the account url to log into your account. Use your username and password credential specified above to log into your PMK Free Tier account.
