Deploying Bare Metal Instances

When you initiate deployment of an OS or hypervisor image to a bare metal server, it becomes a Bare Metal Instance.

A Bare Metal Instance is a Bare Metal Node that has been deployed and is running an OS, or is in the process of being deployed or decommissioned. The life cycle of a Bare Metal Instance includes deployed, running, shutdown and decommissioned. Once a Bare Metal Instance has been decommissioned it will be returned to the pool of available bare metal nodes.
