Platform9 Managed KubeVirt Release Notes

With Platform9's 5.2 release, the following capabilities have been introduced:

• SR-IOV capability for VMs
• User interface for creating VMs, viewing a list of VMs deployed on Platform9 Kubernetes clusters, viewing networking, storage, and other configuration details of VMs, and deleting VMs via Platform9 Managed Kubernetes console.

These are in addition to the existing early access version of Platform9 Managed KubeVirt, which included:

• Availability on Platform9 Managed Kubernetes Free Tier (via enablement during cluster creation). Once enabled, VMs can be created, managed, and migrated via YAML
• Automated installation of OVS package and creation of OVS bridges with specified interfaces on cluster nodes using the Network Operator
• Ability to attach secondary network interfaces on a KubeVirt VM using Multus CNI
