# How to Modify Management Plane FQDN

## Problem

In some cases, it may be necessary to modify the fully qualified domain name (FQDN) that is used to access the user interface.

## Environment

* Platform9 Self Managed Compute Platform9 - v5.9.0 and Higher

## Procedure

Platform9 team has filed an internal feature request AIR-445 to include the ability to modify the Management Plane FQDN in the upcoming SMCP 5.10 version.
