The default lease duration applied to Tenant VMs is defined on a per-tenant basis. However, there may be a need to extend the VM's lease duration for various reasons. It is possible to manually extend the VM Lease duration when it is necessary.
Platform9 Managed OpenStack - v4.5 and Higher
1. Select the VM (Instance) in the Platform9 UI -> Instances dashboard.
2. Click More -> Edit Lease
3. Click on the "Use Custom Lease" radio button
4. Enter new lease expiry time.

Note: The Lease Expiration time can only be extended up to the default duration specified in the tenant's lease policy. If the lease needs to be further extended, the same process needs to be repeated at a later date.
