# Possible to Have Two Instance Mount Points on Hypervisor?

## Problem

A user would like to create a second mount point for instance data.

## Environment

* Platform9 Managed OpenStack - All Versions

## Answer

By design, an OpenStack hypervisor can have only one mount point for instance data. However, the volume can be extended to add more capacity or pointed to a different mount point with the desired specifications after cloning the instance data.
