Are Spot Instances Supported on AWS Cloud Provider?

Problem

For AWS clusters created on Platform9 Managed Kubernetes, can I leverage EC2 spot instances?

Answer

No - the spot instance feature for the AWS cloud provider is currently not an available feature in any of our PMK offerings. An implementation may be assessed by our Product team at a later date provided enough user feedback via our Ideas Portal.
