Ingress Controller Migration

As a part of our infrastructure maintenance and development, we have made a decision to move to a different vendor for our ingress controller.

This migration will be performed on 6th April, 2024 at 6 PM CDT. The following actions will be performed during this activity:

  1. The new ingress controller will be deployed on the management cluster.

  2. Once deployed, the DNS entries for *.platform9.net FQDNs will be switched over to the new controller.

Maintenance Window Details:

  • Date: 6th April, 2024

  • Time: 6:00 PM CDT

  • Estimated Duration: 10 minutes

  • Impact: The Platform9 UI as well as the APIs will be unavailable
