# Infrastructure Maintenance - AMI Update

As part of the routine infrastructure maintenance and development, we are required to update the Amazon Machine Images (AMIs) of the instances part of our infrastructure clusters to mitigate critical and high vulnerabilities.

The following actions will be performed during this activity:

* AMI update on the instances part of the infrastructure clusters.

**Maintenance Window Details:**

* **Date**: Tuesday, 23rd April, 2024
* **Start Time**: 03:30 AM Coordinated Universal Time (UTC)
* **Estimated Duration**: 12 hours
* **Impact:** The Platform9 UI as well as the APIs ***may*** be unavailable during various times during this window. Any cluster administration operations such as cluster upgrade and/or node attach/detach should be avoided during this time. There will be **no impact** to the workloads.
